Prior to joining Northwestern Mutual in 2000, Gary worked for his uncle learning the family business before launching his own career.

“My family employs approximately 40 people in Douglas County between our radio stations, travel agencies and real estate properties. I learned the ins and outs of running a small business as well as how to transition a small business from one generation to the next.
